D-45 | Impact of Baseline Tricuspid Regurgitation on Health Status and Clinical Outcomes After Transcatheter Edge-to-Edge Repair of the Mitral Valve: Insights from the STS/ACC TVT Registry

Tricuspid regurgitation (TR) has been associated with worse outcomes after transcatheter edge-to-edge repair of the mitral valve (TEER). There are limited data about impact TR on health status TEER. Health was assessed Kansas City Cardiomyopathy Questionnaire-overall summary score (KCCQ-OS) in patients enrolled STS/ACC TVT Registry who received isolated TEER between Jan 2019-Jun 2021. Multivariable logistic and cox regression models were used to test association being alive well clinical respectively at 1 year. Our analytic cohort included 19,593 underwent (mean age 76.9±10.4 years, STS 6.5±6.8%, 54.4% men, 33.2% moderate TR, 14.7% severe TR). Mean baseline KCCQ-OS significantly lower vs none/trace/mild (38.1±23.9 41.9±24.7 45.4±25.2; p<0.0001). Moderate also 30 days year (Figure A). Patients had odds comparison (adjOR 0.53, 95% CI 0.40-0.71; Figure B). Further, moderate, higher 1-year mortality (adjHR 1.17; 1.04-1.32 adjHR 1.49, 1.29-1.72 respectively; C). In a large US patients, greater Understanding is especially important rapidly evolving tricuspid interventions.
